Because there is no clutch pedal and you do not have to change gear it is easier to drive a car fitted with automatic transmission.Select Drive before you move off and the gears are then selected automatically.A further benefit may be that it is easier to concentrate on the driving skills of anticipation, observing, planning and judgement.
